• Confronting Housing Insecurity for Victims & Survivors

A significant amount of Domestic Violence Survivors face housing insecurity after escaping an abusive relationship. Even so, many women in abusive relationships do not leave because of financial and housing concerns. We need to improve systems to ensure that no survivor would have to face housing insecurity - this includes paid safe time leave, pay equity for women, rent relief for survivors, and safe, clean, & quality housing programs for women and children. No women or child survivor of domestic violence should live in a car, hotel room, or a cramped studio.

Pink Purpose Project supports and advocates for housing security for survivors.
